In the Cycle of Life:  Plants come from the Earth, the Animals eat the plants, the Plants become part of the Animal 's life.
We eat the Animals and Plants and they become part of us. Eventually we too, go back to the Earth.  Don't write me about the little lives in these Recipes being precious. I'm higher up on the Food Chain - and Thats THAT.
Snake Oil -  (an old standby but easy to make.) You can use the shed snakeskin; grind and keep in Oil, in a dark place far a Year.  I prefer this to fresh since the latter can spoil.
Flying Insect Powders/Balm  - flies, mosquitos and moths; may be collected under a bug Zapper (be sure to sort by type).  ( under no circumstances harm a firefly ) Grind mosquitos and Moths into a fine powder.  Save large Flies for a balm.

Make Balm/Salve by adding mashed or blended flies, to petroleum jelly, blend until smooth.
Spider Powder - often collected by children, they die in the jars without air, Grind dried Spiders to a fine Powder . (note: need not be seperated, accept;
Black Widow Powder should be pure.
Grasshopper Powder - and other hard shelled bugs, often shed their outer shell, these are good for magical purposes. Grind to coarse powder, Sort by insect type.
TadPole Balm/Essence - tadpoles may be scooped up with a net and and will dry up on their own if left out in the Sun; and mashed or blended as above for Balm.  Add water or oil for essence.  NOTE:(may be used in any recipe calling for Frog or Toad parts).
Note; de witch o Black Bayou dissagree bout use for Toad Spells. (you decide).
Wing of Bat -  Dried up animals can sometimes be found in old barns ect.  Grind up (whole animal) the same as for grasshoppers.
Note: for Eye of Newt, can use essence or powder  from specified creature in any any recipe calling for a specified part.  Except if recipe calls for "Eye or Eyes" for the purpose of Seeing, hidden knowledge.  (See Spells)
